What's covered
Insurance
Third party insurance is included in your rental charge. This is because UK road traffic law requires a driver to be insured against unlimited liability for death or injury to people (including passengers), and for damage to other people's property up to a limit of £250,000.If the vehicle is damaged or stolen we reserve the right to claim full rental cost until repairs have been completed or settlement is received in the event of the vehicle being beyond economic repair. Collision damage waiver is available in your rental at an extra charge. Without collision damage waiver, the person renting is responsible for the full cost of damage to the vehicle, however the damage took place. The cover includes the cost of repairs, loss of use and administration charges but not for theft of the vehicle or the excess on the insurance policy.
Tyres and upholstery
The hirer is responsible for the cost of repairing punctures, wheel damage and any interior damage. Charges will be made accordingly.
Refuelling charges
You must return the Vehicle with no less fuel than when the rental period began. A charge will be made for the amount required to top-up fuel to the amount when the rental period began plus a re-fuelling service charge. No credit will be given on unused fuel or for fuel in excess of that provided by us at the start of the rental period.
